Unity vs. Disunity

Something we as women need to do is: stand with one another instead of competing against each other. As women we have to deal with: fighting for equality, defying against society's "beauty standards," and more! It is time we get rid of our disunity and unite.

There will always be someone in a higher position than you, but take that and run with it. Make that the reason why you work so hard, but DON'T bring another woman down to bring yourself up. That may cause temporary satisfaction. Yes, maybe you'll feel good for a second, but once that feeling is over you are right back to where you started.

On the other hand, there may be a woman who is not yet in the position you are in, that is okay too. Instead of flaunting your success; share it. Look out for your fellow woman. Of course everyone has their own tips and secrets that they may not want to share, but it is okay to give a little insight or words of encouragement.

Now on a more personal level: I have not always been the woman that I promote. Around 5th to 9th grade I did not uplift women like I should have. I most definitely strived for having the most "petty" post. I am now seventeen and it is safe to say I am exactly where I want to be. I no longer strive to be in a better position than my woman peers. I simply want us all to win and become "womanairs."

If you read my last post you know I talked about growth and here I am to say again: growth is certainly key. Next time you see a woman rocking a cute outfit or becoming successful: let her know she is doing a great job and looks good doing it. One small compliment goes a long way.

Till next time,

Warrior Women
